As Allure of the Seas, 2nd sister ship to Oasis of the Seas prepares for a December 1st debut, changes between the Allure and Oasis are becoming known.
The most interesting comes in the Coney Island inspired Boardwalk area. Providing an additional "free food" offering on the Boardwalk will be the new Boardwalk Dog House, serving up a variety of sausages, wieners and brats with your choices of toppings. The popular Boardwalk Donut Shop will be relocated (still on the Boardwalk) to make room for the Dog House. Also being introduced on Allure will be Rita's Cantina a "Mexican beach bar" specializing in Margaritas. Rita's will feature live guitar music, drinks and dancing in an effort to revitalize the night-life of the boardwalk. Rita's will replace the Seafood Shack on Allure of the Seas.
Onboard shops continue to be popular, and a new flagship Guess Store will be introduced on Allure of the Seas. There will also be Guest Service Kiosks intended to provide complimentary services such as the ability to view, print or email your on-ship bill and your calendar with spa appointments, dining reservations and entertainment schedules. Included at these kiosks will be free access to airline websites for printing of boarding passes.
The main theatre on Allure of the Seas will be upgraded to handle 3D Movies and will feature the production of Chicago. (Oasis features Hairspray)
Royal Caribbean promises more announcements of "tweaks" to Allure to distinguish her from sister ship Oasis as we get closer to the inaugural season which kicks off on December 1st.
